Our Location

Yalbaroo is a small family farm located on Cainbable Creek in the foothills of Lamington National Park. It is a 25 minute drive from the township of Beaudesert out through the Nindooinbah Valley and down into the Cainbable Valley.

BIOSECURITY

In light of the recent discovery of Foot and Mouth disease in Indonesia it is particularly important you notify us before you arrive if you have recently travelled to any part of Indonesia.

If you have travelled outside Australia in the last 30 days, visited any farms, abattoirs or livestock premises in Australia during the past 7 days or your vehicle has been in contact with livestock or manure in the past 7 days you need to let us know.  

We will ask you for further information, formally document your visit and assess whether there is a biosecurity risk for our property.  If you are assessed as high risk we may require certain conditions are met before access to Yalbaroo is permitted. These conditions may include but are not limited to ensuring all footwear and clothing is cleaned and disinfected. We also     retain the right to cancel your booking and refuse entry to Yalbaroo should you be assessed as a high risk for biosecurity.

From Brisbane Road, Beaudesert, take Kerry Road to Nindooinbah Estate Road (approx. 7.5 km / 7 mins). Turn left into Nindooinbah Estate Road, travel for about 2 km / 2 mins and keep right at the right hand turn. Continue for another 5 km then turn left onto Cainbable Creek Road. Follow Cainbable Creek Road (approx. 7.7 km / 8 mins) to arrive at Yalbaroo Scenic Rim Retreat on your right-hand side.
